Back to School

19th Mar 2021

Dear Parents,

We are looking forward to welcoming all children from P4 to P7 back to school on Monday 22nd March. This is great news for everyone as we can once again enjoy face to face learning for all pupils from P1 to P7.

We are so excited about meeting up again and we will be doing everything we can to settle the children back into school life.

As each class will be returning we ask that you follow the guidelines listed below to help to ensure we can continue to comply with Government Guidelines during this period of continued Covid-19 restrictions. We remind you that pupils should not attend school if they have any symptoms of coronavirus or if they or any member of their immediate family is awaiting test results.

School bags can be brought to school from Monday. Parents are advised not to enter the school building until we are advised otherwise and to wear a mask when dropping their children off and collecting them. School dinners will be operating as normal.

Morning Drop Off

On arrival children should go to Edel at the front reception area of the school.

Afternoon Finishing Times

P1 and P2 will finish at 2.00pm

P3 – P7 will finish at 3pm

Robbie's Bus will come to the school at the usual time.

Please check at home and return all school books! We rely upon all school texts including reading books being returned so that we can operate successful reading groups.

No doubt many of you are relieved that all children can finally get back to school. This has been a very challenging time for families and schools and on behalf of my staff I want to thank you all for the fantastic effort and support you have given during this lockdown period. Everything you have done to help your children over this time will have made a difference. Hopefully we can look forward to returning to normality from this point onwards.

Regards,

Mr Cunningham
