We had a wonderful day attending the FODC Zero Waste Celebration Ceremony at the picturesque Ardhowen Theatre. Our school was delighted to be one of the three schools chosen in the Fermanagh & Omagh schools to participate in the launch of this pilot scheme. We received five workshops at school this year from local charities to raise awareness on how to reduce and reuse to ensure a positive impact on waste reduction over all. We were presented with our award by FODC Vice Chair Shirley Hawkes who kindly let us try on her medallion chain. We were gifted a birdbox, batbox and a window box created by the Men Shed Gortin. The children received juice and treats to conclude a lovely day out and as always were a credit to themselves, families and our school.#fodc #zerowastechampions #makingmemories
